single gt37r 335i log

hey guys, i finished my single turbo build a couple months ago but its taken some time to work out the bugs. i managed to get a decent log last night as the weather here in toronto is not ideal. there was a lot of wheelspin. anyway the car is a 2007 e92 single swap with a custom manifold and a garrett dbb gt37r with .91 hotside. Snow meth nozzles 625ml and 375ml spraying 100% meth and gas is 94octane. let me know what you think about this log. its around 20psi. thanks

How are you liking spool on that GT? I'll check out the log in a bit, sweet ST setup

Edit: your link is just to the quick start page. FYI.

honestly its nothing like the twins but that a sacrifice im willing to make. it looks very lazy in the log in 2nd gear but the tires are spinning. i think its perfect for me whenever im cruising im always in a good power band and when wot through the gear always in good boost.

Why would you spray 100%meth? You should cut it. 50/50 or 60/40

And why is that? There is nothing wrong with 100% methanol, so long as you recognize it's corrosive properties.

That is one really lazy spooling setup but kudos to making your own for sure.

I think it's perfect. I don't need 20 psi at 2500 rpm and if I ever do need 20psi I no how to drive a car so I'll always be in my power band lol it's actually quite relaxing for cruising and the car not jumping out with the super spooling stock turbos

It is not about 2500rpm. It is that you hit 20psi well north of 4k. It would be ok if the car redlined at 8k as 20psi surely won't make enough power or torque for this to be worth kiling all the joy of driving except highway rollons to 130mph.

I dont use it as power additive, i use it to help cool down operating temps...in the end you can get more power but its just more safe like that

I don't disagree at all re: using it as a charge temp tool, rather than as fuel. But there is absolutely nothing wrong with 100% meth outside of it's slightly corrosive chemical properties. I think we're in agreement here, was just a matter of semantics.

Depends on the tune you are using. I would ask your tuner though.

Timing curve needs a lot of work, it's messy. I'd like to see AFRs richen more quickly but nothing too crazy going on there. What are you targeting?

Don't ever log 2nd gear. The reason your boost comes in so late is because of the quick rev low load of second gear. It will always run leaner too. Log 3rd and 4th only. Timing should be a steady .5* increase ending somewhere in the 10.5-12.5* range @ 7300rpm. If there are any dips or waves your knocking and need to reevaluate your tune. Again it looks shitty do to second gear. I hit 13.3* timing @ 7400rpm the other day @ 24.5psi iirc
