[TiM235i]

I am returning to a 335i after 4 years in a 2011 135i. My user name was always a giveaway over on the 1Addicts site, but I had an '07 335i before getting the 135i.

The 135i was the best little car I have ever had, but I am just ready to try something new. I read the good and bad about the new 335i here and shopped around for other brands, but nothing keeps my interest like BMWs do. I thought about the M235i, but there were a few little things I didn't like about it. Then I ALMOST bought a 2013 M3 that would have been a steal (1,400 miles), but some guy from California bought it out from under me sight unseen.

I drove a 335i just for the heck of it during the BMW Olympic test drive event and thought the steering was a lot better than expected. Not 135i like, but pretty good. I called my dealer and asked him to find one with the options I wanted and he talked me into ordering one -- good sales job!

So now I am waiting. My car is in production and may be here in late April. I have never ordered a European car before and this wait is tough.

Thanks for all the posts on the good and bad of the 335i. I am walking in well informed!

you will love your 335i.
but if you want a small fun fast stock car, M235i should have been your choice.

Congrats on the order! I'm in the same situation, waiting for end of April/early May to take delivery of mine.

I was never a BMW person. I love muscle cars and have owned the occasional Benz. But its been 5 weeks now and am really enjoying it.

It is a winter oriented car, and in the snow it actually can take on my wife's Jeep GC.

Great on gas, I have driven over 4000Kms in 5 weeks and no issues.

Congrats! The MY 2014 is a great year to have (it will most likely have the updated ECU software). Keep us posted with your review once you have it.
