BMW 19" Wheel Upgrade

Just ordered my car - going to be waiting a month or two, so I have to do something with my time between now and then.

Cosmetically, I think the car would look a lot better with 19" wheels, so I'm trying to figure out the best way to make that happen.

BMW will likely offer it as an upgrade, with their performance wheels as seen on the M235 racing version. I might be the only person who actually likes those wheels.

I think a bunch of people are thinking about a 19" upgrade, so I figured I'd start a new thread about it.

Anybody know what BMW will charge for that upgrade when it becomes available? How would it work? Would I be forced to keep the 18" wheels, and get a credit for the 18" rubber? I guess I could use the 18's for winter rims.

Anyone done this before on other BMW's?

I'm definitely getting 19s but think the BMW performance rims are overpriced and just not all that nice.

Have no choice but to go aftermarket.

I'm definitely with you on the 19 inches the M235 needs it desperately but the question is, what rims will fit correctly. I too started a thread to hopefully get a list of those wheels and pricing.

One wheel that looks like it probably fits from BMW is the model 361 unfortunately it's $4400 including rubber and no you don't get any credit for your existing wheels and tires unfortunately. Maybe it's something you could work out with the dealer but that's on individual basis
