help with spacers

I picked up my M235i yesterday. I love the car. I want to improve the looks of the vehicle stance though. I really do not want to change the 18' wheels and Michelin tires. I don't want to change the suspension either.

I was thinking that spacers will probably make the wheels look a little more flush with the body and give me the look I am after.

I have never had spacers though. I have absolutely zero experience with them.

Can someone that has experience here please school me on pros, cons, what brand to buy, how to pick the right size, etc?

I can't help you with the sizing or anything but with the video in this thread here the M235i had spacers so you can get an idea of what it can look like with them.

That car looks like they added too much. I am also interested in spacer etiquette.

I'm curious for those who already have their 235s how much spacer you'd really need. this will be one of my first mods I just don't know what to order in terms of width.

also curious if dealers give you any static about spacers ... during tire rotations and such?
