FINALLY got to test drive a 2014 335i Sport Line
Hey everyone! I've been lurking on the forums for almost a year now and finally decided to make an account recently just to comment on some posts.
BUT 2 days ago something amazing happened. I visited my local BMW dealership, as I usually do once in a while just for some excitement and an escape in a way but this time is was because I spotted a m235i on the road recently and decided I should go check it out at the dealership! They only had a 228i but it was nice getting a feel of the space/seats/materials etc and I must say it feels very comfortable and sport granted I did not get to drive it. Now to the fun part. I've always thought that there was certain requirements to test drive a BMW car, like being over 21 and a require of a credit score. I'm 19 and attending college but I'd thought I'd ask what were the requirements for a test drive anyways, and the guy who helped me out says, "what requirements?" So fast forward a couple minutes later and I found myself test driving a 335i sport line! I wanted to drive a 435i but they didn't have one available at the time, oddly. AND WOW it was fun. I was allowed to drive in sport mode with the paddles throughout the test drive. Full throttle accelerations and the aggressive shifts were unbelievably fun. I just fell in love with the car so much more. Now as a disclosure, I'm coming from a 2013 Hyundai Sonata GLS as a daily driver, so I guess you can say I was undoubtedly easily amazed but still, after watching countless videos and reading loads of threads, I got to drive the car how I wanted to and it blew me away. I cannot wait to own one one day! Thanks for reading everyone. Here's a random picture my friend took, wish he got a video during some accelerations though |

I was wondering the same thing. Part of BMW Apps? I see Pandora at the top of the screen. I have an Android phone so rarely use BMW Apps unless someone brings their iPhone along.

Its part of the BMW apps. It's actually pretty neat you can have it display local images and show the time and weather for the week. I have a question does the 2013 models have yelp and such for their cars?

Well, when I got my f30, I remember I didn't have the Yelp app accessible. But recently it showed up. I believe it's all online-based, according to customer relations, so as long as you have BMW Apps/Online, you should have it.

OK, I think I just got sold on the Online service. Kind of expensive, though, isn't it? Anyone on the board take advantage of it? I thought it was a couple hundred a year or something like that.

hmm I was stopped at a red light in the picture so I'm guessing I was just getting a feel of the steering wheel. It definitely feels good but not NEARLY as amazing as the M sport steering wheel as I've had a good feel of them in the showroom cars.
