New F30 Advice?

I just picked up my first 3-series, a AW 328ix Sport Line. The first 60 miles have been phenomenal! There are a ton of threads with pics and stuff so I'll only share a couple iPhone pics.

What I really want to know from the community is this: what advice would you give someone with a new F30? What would you have done differently with your new F30? Just curious, anything is helpful...

Congrats. Just make sure you got all the options you wanted and none of the stuff you didn't want to spend extra for. Otherwise enjoy the exploration of all the neat stuff on your new F30. This forum is a wealth of information for that kind of stuff.

Haha - thanks man, but I may have already been ruined...

Thanks all for your thoughts... looking into the IND painted reflectors and perhaps the painted whiskers as well.

lol good!! It is super easy btw. Just heat it up a bit with a heat gun (or blow dryer if you don't have a heat gun) and use some good ol fashioned dental floss. It comes right off!! Just clean up the goo and BAM you have a COMPLETELY different looking car!

Don't even need that. I just used fishing line when I put on my Bimmian emblems. Goo came off as well.

Don't even need that if the car is only a few months old. Stick a fingernail under the edge and pop them off. It's easier than you might think. Just don't use anything sharp.

I have found one thing that's a bit annoying, but I can live with. Coming from my 2011 X5, when I locked / unlocked the doors, there was "acoustic acknowledgement" (or a beep) and the option to turn that on/off. In my F30 there's no beep and no option to turn it on. Annoying, yes but I can live with it. Same for others??

The beep was because the X5 had an alarm system and you have to have an alarm system in order to have that audible acknowledgement.

I'd go with clear reflectors and tinted windows, makes a big difference with AW Sportline
