ASS reprogram then "power failure"

Hey everyone! I took my 2013 328i Xdrive in for its first service (oil change) and also asked them to reprogram my auto s/s to "last user mode." They agreed but called me today and said "to be honest, we reprogrammed things and now the whole car is in power failure. Its like it just went to sleep." I appreciate my SA's honesty but now my worried about the electrical system. He said they'd try to reset everything. Anyone else with similar experiences or have comments? Thanks!

Programming aborts can occur for a variety of reasons - all can be recovered though.

Just had my car done last week as well, no issues. Maybe they didn't charge the battery enough before programming?

The latest update is that they were reprogramming and couldn't get past a module. Now they have to order a new module specific for my VIN. Its been almost 1 week (all for an oil change and reprogram.) At least they gave me a loaner!

They should have given you a loaner no questions asked.
