Is there a way to make the car beep when locking/unlocking?

I couldn't find anything in the settings

My car beeps. Just grab the handle and it beeps/flashes and unlocks. Put your finger on the handle and it locks and beeps/flashes.

For 3-series, the beeps are part of ant-theft alarm, which is standard on 335i but an option on 320i and 328i. The same may apply to 4-series.

almost positive this is configurable in Settings. I just turned my audible to OFF, but lights still flash.

It is in Settings, but apparently you need to have an alarm for it to beep.
