about to order new wheel\tires, thoughts?

Wanted to get some opinions before I pull the trigger, car is an 2008 335xi. I understand the 235/265 combo would be closer in overall height, but I'm not a fan of the stretched look. Are the tires sizes listed below safe to run on an XI?

VMR VB3 Gunmetal
19x9.5 et 33 front
19x10 et 25 reat

Conti ExtremeContact DW
245/35/19 (808 revs per mile)
275/30/19 (818 revs per mile)

Well the recommended diameter difference is under 1% and 245/275 have 1.004% difference. So it's basically too much or just on the borderline.

Here is e90 with those wheel sizes, but 235/265 setup. Don't know the tyre brand. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showpo...89&postcount=3

The obvious answer is rolling diameter. You can put whatever tire size you want front and rear, as long as they fit; that doesn't matter. What does matter is the rolling diameter difference between the two "axles."

If you don't like the stretched tire look then don't get such wide wheels to begin with. Even with your proposed setup, 245 will look stretched on a 9.5" wheel. For that reason, you might want to rethink your setup...

I have Hankook V12 235s on 8" wheels and the sidewall is pretty much straight up and down. A 235 on a 9.5" wheel will be stretched.

The tire calcular here doesn't take rolling diameter into considerdation, this is obvisouslly the most accurate way to calculare the percentage difference. The Bridgestone RE760 in the tire size I want have a closer rolling diamter perhaps that tire is better suited for my needs?
