Anyone else have this problem?
2013 328i xdrive
25,000 kms I got my car serviced at 18,000 kms The dash said I have 3200 kms until my next service after I got my first service done. after 1000 kms or so it dropped to 2200 kms left until my next service. Now, I have done more than 4000 kms and it still shows I have 2200 kms until my next service. I used to have a Subaru STI. The ECU never told me when to do maintenance. I always followed my rules. Every 5000 kms oil change. Am I the only one with this problem? Is it even a problem? Do I just wait until the ECU tells me to service my car? |

It could be any number of different things. Review the status in i drive to see what's up next. It could be brake pads or just an annual inspection. It's not just an indicator for oil changes.

I think there is some sort of issue with it calling for premature brake service. My car is at 16,000km and is calling for front brake pads in 2,000km along with an oil change. Based on my mileage this definitely looks like a bug in the service calculator in the car as I don't see how my brake pads can be worn out at such a low mileage.
