signature pic size limit.

I did a search but couldn't find anything useful.

Is there a sig pic size requirement on this site?
I don't think there is, and I think there should be.

Few members' sig pics are too big, its kind of disturbing to see, especially when they overlap multiple times in one page, you have to scroll down alot just to read the next post. (I am talking about big ones like 600+ pixels by 300+ pixels)

Most sites have sig size limit, and are pretty strict about it.
Seeing how fast this site is growing, I think we should have one also to keep the board clean and "look" regulated.

lol even though shimshimhada's sig girls were pretty hot.

I don't want a very strict rule either, but for example,
like paintballpete's sig(sorry I have to point the finger at you man. ).

its a beautiful pic, but too big.

I am not as concerned about the size of the pics -- and I would hate for that jiggling girl to go away -- but I think a limit on the width of images is in order.

It's a real drag when you have to scroll to the right and left to read posts because people have really wide images.

I am pretty sure the vbulletin software has an option to limit the dimensions of images. I admin a bunch of boards and we always keep some limits in place.

I would think eventually the amount of bandwidth all these images are costing will become an issue for the site's owners.

I hate to agree with anyone because I like to argue about everything, but I think a size limit should be added. Its kinda annoying to see the same pic on one page like 10 times when its really large..

Yea I agree with everyone, large sigs are annoying. I'm looking into different solutions to this problem, if I cant find any automated way of regulating sig sizes, then i'll do it personally by PMing ppl with sigs that are too large. Will keep everyone updated
