These cars are not in direct competition with the M5 so BMW doesn't have to worry about them.

Agree R8 is a model that's on the outs soon. GTR is not really s looker, and I agree these two would be in the Porsche category. My M5 does what they can't do ......luxury with a rear seat, and the GTR is too cramped in the rear. I would still take my 991S over thr two, and soon GT3 for sure hands down. M5 in my opinion is still the best all around luxo cruiser, well I would take the M6 grand coup over thr M5 which is on the table too.

I agree with all except the M6 GC
Man The car looks too big for a fast car like Jag XJ type of thing
And rear looks nice agreed but not sure about front!
To each his own obviously especially looks -
GT3 I am Jealous -

Id take the GC over the M5 too- price out of equation. I looks better IMHO but yes subjective.

Hell yeah .......if the GC was available when I did ED back in 2012 it would have been the GC hands down. It's freaking sexy all around.

I disagree 100 % -
Too long and front end is not as "Sexy" if there is something to it that M5 is lacking would be being SUPER UNIQUE for sure will turn heads a lot more than regular M5 but all around can't say better from all angles!
Again IMHO
