just a thought as they have this thread in the USA section (sorry if it is already in the uk one)

just to bring members together or to see if someone by you is a member.
if you spot a nice BM then post what and where...
for example:
last night at approx 22:30 i saw a white E90 M-sport with Black front splitters, think it was an LCI on Ocean Plaza McDonalds in Southport.
anyones on here?

Saw a nice e93 white 320d LCI m sport in Palmers green, north London. Also saw a sexy e93 335i silver pre-lci same location. In fact I see them everyday on my way to work.

yea black wheels, looks tidy! so are you from the Southport area?

HAHA 'UkHotCars', used to go to that too, back when the only mods you needed was a loud can and a shopping list on your doors! would love someone to start a proper meet around here (not boyracers or 'ricers'). someone could set one up espesially now that UKHC has stopped.

Theres a more grown up version of UKHC now called Unphased. Its websites un-phased.co.uk & its very friendly & we have a monthly meet @ the boat yard near preston

yea, tbh that's what the idea was, to be able to find out if they are members.
i think it would be difficult to only post if you know they're members unless you were to approach the car, ask if they were on the forum and then post that you saw them...kinda defeats the idea.
About the modded part, i pretty sure you would only be posting on this forum if you saw a modded BMW, unless you want to post about every BMW you see? but as you pointed out in your example that wouldn't be very effective.
