Uk £1000 5yr service plan

Never owned an M before, as I've ordered the M4 I took this service plan out, is it a no brainer for saving money? how much did you M3 owners pay for servicing previously? I probably will keep it for at least 3 yrs maybe the full 5.

No brainier for me. The first service is at 1200 miles. My E90 M3 cost me around £300 for that service if I remember correctly. Money well spent, if you sell the car it will be more attractive to potential buyers as well.

Is America the only place where BMW includes free maintenance/service for 4 years? To me, this is one of the key features in buying BMW new. CPOs are great too, but knowing that I don't have to worry about anything for 4 years is a warm and fuzzy feeling.

Warranties will no longer be transferrable to new owners beginning in April I believe!

The service pack is transferable- it stays with the car not the owner, in the UK at least , not sure about the States
