E90 sputterng...

I own a 2006 bmw 330i. I recently had problem with my idle kept on creeping up and down and now it got bad and threw a service engine soon light on. I got the codes p0174 and P2145 and im not sure if these two are related but im sure it is. I have a third party warranty and I'm not sure if they will cover it due to it looks to be emission related or a check engine would be on.

Any help!?

Google the codes. I dont remember on on top of m head. Check ur Essentric shaft sensor for oil in the connector.

Ill check it out we just got bombed with 6 inches in chicago with no garage. I checked those codes and absoltely nothing on the P2145 other than EGR valve but thats for diesels...P0174 is too generic but why all of a sudden these two come up.

I forgot to mention when I hit the gas at times it kind of hesitates and the idle is very prominent on a cold start or anytime I even start the car.
