Is this normal on the sun roof?

So I noticed a couple days ago that there is a green substance along the sides of my sunroof. What is this? Mold?

Looks like lint from a yellowish rag.

It's hard to tell from the photo but it's more than likely algae. It should just come off with a toothbrush or similar.

That looks like towel fuzz. wash your car and before you wipe it down look at the sunroof again and see if it is there.

Tennis ball fuzz... has your car been on the court lately?

I know that wasn't helpful, I just don't like passing up an opportunity to be a wise ass.

It is very common for that seal to attract almost anything flying around the air, from inside the car when open, or a towel used for drying the car, etc. I frequently had to comb out little fuzz thingies like that out of e92 sunroof. It effectively acts like a lint brush.

Some kind of fuzz - mold isn't bright / neon green (at least that I've seen!)
