Wait till u get it going. With my borla aggressive exhaust and Bms drop in its sounds mean as shit. The people In a few of the cars I passed whipped there necks around like wtf was that!!! It's way more than I was expecting!!!! It requires a new degree of careful

I wouldn't replace anything yet. Clear the cel, swap the packs, if it jumps then purchase a few coil packs. I keep an extra in my trunk at all times. You can get OEM for 35 or Delphi for 40

Well from your other thread I assume you have 108k miles! Just change sparks and plugs so you don't have to deal with it later

Why? Coils are either good or bad and you can't predict their life span. They don't deteriorate.
Just buy a few and keep them as back up

Fair enough, i thought they would go bad over time like anything else. I guess i'll just buy one or two to keep on hand. Thanks

Exact same thing happened to me. JB4 G5 and the first time I really get into the throttle in 3rd and POOF power loss and Service engine light. Had to limp home about a mile fortunately.

Two misfires that follow the coils. My theory, worn plugs combined with the added load from the JB4 means dead coils.

Replacing all plugs and the two bad coils before driving it again.

Seriously, I now understand why everyone says to install new spark plugs BEFORE adding a tune if there are more than 20k on them.

Right-

Replace the ones that were toasted and keep the others in your garage so you have less downtime. Can't really predict when they will give up the ghost.
