That's the correct guide right there, was a bigger pain in the ass than I thought it would be. I ended up bleeding by the time I was done but it was worth it!

My dealer dropped them on for me (along with the black exhaust tips).

+1, but you're right, totally worth it in the end. Amazing how quick and easy the new ones go in vs. taking the old ones out, damn tabs...

I bled as well. Probably not the best to do it in 10 degrees weather as the plastic clips were frozen solid and didn't want to move. Pita... But worth every drop of blood and every new word created while doing in!

I did this yesterday and agree with others that it was a pain in the ass. Needs a good amount of force to pull them out. More than I thought would be necessary.

I would recommend to wear gloves to avoid bruising/cuts.

That's what I ended up doing after I got the first few tabs out. Broke a couple on each grill but who cares... Right. Even after I had complete access it was a pain to even get the broken tabs out. I might consider 3d printing a tool specifically to make this easier for people

they wont care about the grill being black instead of chrome. they'll be looking at dings, tires and mileage.
