Kw V1 handling question/problem
I've had my Kws installed for almost a year now and my one gripe with them way they react to larger dips in the road at highway speed. A lot of the times when I'm driving over the dip at end of a bridge, or just a dip in the road in general, the car feels like it just drops out from underneath me. I don't feel like I lose any control when it happens, but it's somewhat uncomfortable and annoying on longer trips. Otherwise the ride is smooth, and quiet.
I want to know if this is just normal for cars with more aggressive spring and rebound rates, or if it might be a problem with my setup. This is my first set of coilovers and I'm not familiar with the ride characteristics. I have the car set a max height in the rear, and slightly less than max in the front(approx. 2 finger gap all around), and rolling on 17" non-rft tires. I would appreciate any knowledge you guys have to share, thanks! |
