LED foglights F30
Does anyone know why they went with halogen fog lights instead of LED on the F30? It looks ridiculous and it's annoying.
Anyone know if it will be possible to buy LED fog lights from BMW? |

Anything that's H8 should fit, but if it's anything other then halogen you will need ballests and a decoder. I would try here: http://store.ijdmtoy.com/High-Power-...headlights.htm
1600 lumens for 20watts is pretty damn bright for such low power. That's twice as bright as a standard H8 35w Halogen at about 1000k color temp higher. Last edited by v1k1ng01; 01-08-2014 at 04:56 PM.. |

That is one option, but I was thinking more like getting the LED foglights from the 4-series over to mye 3-series. Anyone know if that's even possible?

They more than likely went with halogen because they don't currently offer the LED headlights on the F30. They are probably saving this for the LCI model just so they can give people more "differentiation".
I'm curious as to whether an F32 with normal xenon headlights will still get LED fog lamps or if it is only upgraded to LED with the LED lighting package option.
