LCI M Sport Front Splitter - Photo Request

I've just ordered a full set of LCI bumpers/skirts which should hopefully be here in the next few weeks. It will come unpainted so looking at what splitter/lip options are out there and I'll get everything sorted at the same time.

Im looking at the corner splitters like on this car: (Mr Singh's car, borrowing his photo)

However Im thinking of getting them painted the same colour as my car, Montego Blue. I can't find any photos of an LCI M Sport with these painted to match though, does anybody have any photos at all? Or will it just look awful which is why I can find no photos

Alternatively, anybody know where I can get a lip like the one below for less than £200?

Cheers

Nope, was going to run it like this until I got hold of the bonnet

However, had an email today saying it had been listed at the wrong price and my order is cancelled... a bit annoying!

Anyway, its put the idea in my head so will still be looking for a new set of bumpers on ebay

Definitely get the splitters, the lip is not nice!

Regarding the bumpers & skirts, wouldn't it be much cheaper to get them second hand from ebay/breaker?

Could even get them in your colour so no need to pay for painting! Would probably work out about only £500-600 total!

I found a set of new ones listed just over £300 so I took a punt. Like I said though, they cancelled it (thought it might be too good to be true) so I'm back to looking at second hand ones on eBay.

My car is Montego Blue though, wasn't a standard colour for M Sports so no bumpers in that colour come up

Yep

I know a guy who can paint them for me though so shouldn't be too bad I hope. Just need to find them with minimal damage and I'm sorted haha.

Front bumper should be fairly easy to find, but i guess the touring rear bumper is different to the saloon so not so easy?

Front bumper there are plenty of like you said. I'm bidding on a rear bumper now which looks in good condition.

Main problem is all the plastic clips are broken on most of the ones I see for sale there are still normally a good few for sale though.

I shouldn't worry about the broken clips if i was you, i just replaced my rear bumper as i reversed into a post with one off ebay which had all the side clips broken. It fits perfectly, even though the clips are broken they still clip on, it looks perfect!

The one I'm bidding on has just one broken clip. It's reassuring to know they still fasten on ok regardless though Thanks

Here you go mate:

SSDD Carbon Splitters

Same splitters moulded and colour coded (try and forget the fact the front bumper is a different colour )

I honestly wished I'd left them as they were but that may be because of the bumper colour and that all of the lacquer started to peel off - I just hated it!

Stick some on and maybe even get them wrapped in the car colour, you could always remove the wrap if you didn't like it.

The SSDD splitters were spot on btw, great fit and good money.

I bought a bumper from 'parts r us doncaster' on ebay (good price and very good bumper) and had it delivered to the body shop, they painted it off the car and didn't do a proper colour match. It's gone now though, traded in.

Thanks for sharing the photos

I think I prefer them unpainted.... Wasn't expecting that haha.
