Car cleaned and Gloss black grills installed

Managed to get the grills fitted this morning with the help of the guide on these forums - can't believe dealer was looking for a couple of hours labour to do this as i had it done in 15 minutes or so... although it did cause a bit of cursing at times.

Car looks very nice, especially with the new grills - what's with the rusty discs in the Finished 8 pic? Is that an after-effect of having just been washed?

Those pics must have been taken a while after washing it for that rust to have formed!?

The moonstone looks awesome all shiny though!

thanks all, discs are rusty as I had just washed and had to pull it in to the garage to get the paint sealed before the moisture in the air started freezing on the car.

I know I really should've done a trip round the block to clear the rust but I wanted to get the detail finished.

Car looks great, really tempted with the black grill now.

Was the car bodywork machined?

Very nice job !

I have to confess that I have also cursed a lot during the installation of my grills.

Did you remove the grills using your fingers only ?
I was to lazy to remove the grills from above, so I decided to try to detach the clips with my fingers only, that's why I cursed a lot. My fingers got all screwed.
