Looking at the BMW site, the rate is the same at 3.9% but dealer contributions are no more....

No, but safe to say you won't see any contributions on such new models as the 2 and 4 series. Maybe in the latter part of the year.

Ouch, with dealer contributions taken away for the 3 series, it massively bumps up the prices!

Guess they will come back when BMW UK need the sales - Select Finance looks crazy now.

Presumably those of us with one ordered in the last quarter will have the rates and dealer contribution honoured ??

Correct, probably until you decide to make a change to your order.. finance agreement would have to be put through again...

Isn't it the same every quarter the contributions appear to initially disappear?

I wouldn't worry too much about this. The discount is agreed with the dealer, if you change your order they will give you the cost to change. So, you just refinance under the new parameters. My dealer contribution was counted in with my discount rather than a deposit...
The interest rate is the important factor here. If you had to refinance this may have come into play had it jumped up. Dealer even offered to out new finance through for me had the rate actually dropped. But, styed at 3.9%.

Very true. They did exactly the same at Audi when they dropped the support for the A6 at the end of September. Prices went through the roof of on October 1st but then fell again on the 2nd.....

Calm Down...for now

This happened at the turn of qtr3/4. I remember it well as I hadn't placed my order and without the deals it was out of my price range.

I think it took them about 6/7 days to get the latest deals up there - it was a long week!! If nothing has changed by this time next week then I'd worry!

Just had a click through the website and the dealer contributions are missing for all the models I checked. Interesting to see what they come back up as..

Yup did that too, so thinking the same. I can't imagine too many people will be buying a 640d without any form of support
