UK...any 430D or 435D in play yet?

Hi,

I've looked but cant see a single review about either of these. Anyone have one and care to feedback please? Also anyone seen any engine note clips, I'm curious if the 435D has the same note (with artificial input I think) as the 640D same engine which IMO sounds fantastic for an oil burner!

I thought these engines were maybe Nov 13 delivery but maybe Nov 13 production yet to come through?

Cheers.

My dealer is awaiting a 435d. It was ordered before I ordered my 335d F30 and he was expecting delivery early 2014. My delivery is expected 10 January.

Garage List
Scooba0010 has taken delivery of a 430D, and I am awaiting delivery of my 430D to replace my E92 335D - expected feb. Scooba0010 seems very happy with his.

While the performance of the 435xD will be excellent, I am buying a coupe and the Xdrive ride height of the 435xD is excessive ( I'm not alone thinking that : http://www.f30post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=926242) . I found the day-to-day performance of the 430D slightly more sprightly than my existing 335D primarily because of the new 8 speed automatic (the 0 - 60 figures actually bear this out), just at the upper revs lacking that final bit of oomph. But, that will be rectified with the MPPK.

Plus, I know how to pull out of junctions in slippy conditions...... (just teasing the xdrive boys : some like Xdrive, some don't. vive la différence. )

430d on order based on blind faith. Never driven a 4. Never driven a '30d, but I know I'll love it. Excited doesn't come close...

Your Escort will have taught you how to drive a RWD, so you'll have no problems with throttle control on an Auto Diesel

Could not agree more. The whole point of a couple is to be sleek and low.
If I was going for a 4, I would defo go for a 30d or 35i.
