The Blue Bullet is here...
Well firstly Happy Christmas and a prosperous and healthy New Year to one and all.
I picked the car up on Saturday 21st and promptly took it to France on Eurotunnel the next day. In all over Christmas I've done nearly 500 miles and my first observation is... just love the way the bonnet rises when you floor it. Been a long time since I've experienced that, and it'd just sublime. The acceleration is stonking (but I already want more). Nonetheless, I've found I can't use it much as I catch up the car in front so effortlessly, so in reality I doubt I'd be able to benefit from another 0.2 second or whatever a remap or similar would give. So that's not on the list. I won't do a full write up as it mirrors what most other people say, just plain amazing. I also have man-flu so not feeling terribly verbose. Anyway managed to clean it yesterday before going out for lunch and as the sun was out tried to capture the Tanzanite. It really is like no other paint - the flakes are blue unlike most metallic and the photo is untouched. Interior is so special, coming rom black Dakota it's a world of difference in feel, quality and visual appeal. Personally I love the brown piping, and the walnut trim is totally fitting in the cabin. Better pics to follow here too. Comfort setting for the adaptive suspension is noticeably softer and bad-back-wife and elderly parents all said it was surprisingly wafty. Or words to that effect. I'll do a separate write up of Online Entertainment, but in short, don't! So, for now, here's a few pics taken between downpours and 80mph winds!

you need to improve on your picture taking skills! that aside, car looks great, well suited with the individual leather and love the piano... colour looks like it has hints of purple in it... EB II is more muscular colour IMO.. enjoy

The outside will show up every scratch and the inside will look grubby very quickly due to the light coloured seats. But it does look lovely when new. I am sure the owner will take great care of it. More than usual care obviously needed. Drive me to distraction and distruction.

It's not piano actually, it's burr walnut. That shot was taken under the English Channel, surely that's a good excuse And yes there is definitely purple in it, which is exactly what I was after. Under grey clouds it's just a dark blue. In the sun it simply comes alive. EBII is a lovely colour but as I'm not very muscular I thought I'd better go for something more girlie But thanks, cheered me up no end I can tell you!
