Talking Unexpected Christmas Present

So about a week ago I was told my week 52 delivery had been pushed back to week 1. Wasn't happy especially when I was told contributions were dropping and prices increased for 2014.

To get around the £1700 gap this delay could have cost me (well the dealer) I agreed to get all docs sorted and pick up a courtesy car today.

I popped to the dealer at 0930 only to be told my car had arrived at 0830 and I could collect at 1600. Over the moon doesn't describe it!!

Anyway spec as follows, will get pics up tomorrow as the light had gone when I collected it.

F31 2.0 diesel xDrive M Sport

Alpine White
Coral Red Leather
Sport Auto
Pro Nav/Media
Vis Pack
M Sport Plus Pack
Parking Pack
Heated Seats
Heated Steering Wheel
Comfort Access

Only had a little razz about tonight, so far loving it!

Merry Christmas to me!

I think the dealer was at it, and wanted your car registered before the end of the year. Im sure if your car was ordered in quarter 4 then as long as its delivered before end of quarter 1 the price (support/discount) stands.

Enjoy your present

They should honour your part ex, It's not your fault if they couldn't supply the car on the date they quoted.

just interested is the heated steering wheel necessary - it gets hot - is it very cold where you drive? If it's hot how do you hold it?

Will get some pics up tomorrow just finished building all manner of toys for the little members of the tribe!!

Am in love with it tho. The nav is amazing.

Oh and re the heated steering wheel...it gets very cold 3 days a year! No it's not necessary, but if I bought what was necessary I wouldn't be driving a BMW!
