F30 335d Video Review...in Polish

No idea what he's saying but some nice acceleration footage/sounds just after 14 mins in.

Ok so I am clutching at straws, such is the agonising wait.

You watched it for 14 mins in Polish?

Lasted longer than me anyway.

She can barely tell me what her mum and dad are saying about me over dinner, never mind the finer details of a polish car review!

Ok, so that wasn't too painful! First up, he is well educated and well spoken, and not what she was expecting of Polish car journalist!

He said the interior quality was high, as expected from a BMW, and all the ergonomics were good too. Like everyone else, he thought the storage space in the cabin was a bit poor, and that the cup holder lid should go in the glove box, and forget about trying to get a really large bottle in the door. The boot floor and polystyrene in the hidden compartment are a bit cheap.

It's an MSport on 18inch winter wheels (same as the ones we're getting incidentally - they looked alright thankfully!)

He said the room up front was good, even for a tall bloke like him, though in the rear you wouldn't want to be behind him, however that has always been the case in a 3 series.

He rattles through the figures, and the fuel consumption is amazing for a car of this power (as we all know). He says that given the performance, economy and driving enjoyment on offer it is actually pretty good value for money, as long as you don't go silly with the extras. He points out a few extras and how much they cost.

On the drive he seems overly obsessed with the sound level, thinks its a little on the noisy side. (sounded bloody great to me!). But the sheer driving performance is awesome, especially the way it blends performance with economy, and also sportiness with comfort. He talks about the driving modes, and how he can really feel the difference, and that they are well judged. (i never quite established whether it had adaptive suspension).

All in all a great all rounder of a car. I would say that we learnt absolutely nothing new!

On the plus side it was quite handy as now the missus got a little guided tour of her new car which we will get next weekend!
