Tire wear, and tire noise with car loaded.

So went on vacation with the wife and took the dog. He weighs 100 pounds and we loaded gifts and stuff which is roughly about 250 pounds including the dog maybe a bit more. After driving 500-600 miles the tires start making a high pitched sound that speeds up as I drive faster, like tread noise.

I checked front tires and they are wearing on the inside 20% of tire, rear not really bad at all.

Could it be I needed an alignment? Can driving with extra weight in the car aid has passenger and gifts make the camber out of whack?
