Going rate for brand new 403's + RFT's
Anyone know what one could realistically get for selling a brand new set of 403 alloys + new run-flat tyres?
They range anywhere from £1500 - £2000 on ebay but what would someone realistically pay? |

The worry with 403's is that they will start to blister or peel the lacquer. I think they are stunning wheels but the thread on here about people having them replaced under warranty is alarming. I wish BMW had simply painted them for the UK market. What are the tyres worth on their own? There should be plenty of prospective buyers out there. A couple of years ago I picked up a set of oem alloys with Dunlop SP Sport tyres. They had delivery miles and I picked them up for less than the value of 4 new tyres.

I hear what your saying mate. I have my eye on a set of 20's and would like to sell the 403's as soon as i get the car.
They're obviously only worth what someones willing to pay, but looking at what some are paying for a set of 18" winters you'd think they'd be worth £1500. |

I've also seen sets for £1000! But rare at that price. I'd say eBay them for £1500 and see what happens. Tyres are worth 1200, but you shouldn't change run flats about as it damages the side wall.

Offer a trade in for someone upgrading from their 18s. You will then be able to sell the 18s for a good price to someone as a winter set. Sell the 18 tyres to anyone needing to replace tyres. If done right you could do very well out of it and contribute towards your new 20s.

The last brand new set I saw go for auction on ebay only got £1215. The buy it now prices are much higher so better to sell that way.

I really like the look of the Morr wheels on the american forums! I might find out how much they are. the BBS CH variants look pretty damn fine on any BMW too.
I see the 405M wheels are significantly lighter than the 403M's so I'm keeping an eye out for those being sold second hand |

Think i'll offer my 403's individually to forum members as a spare wheel and tyre which is always handy to have.
I always kept a spare alloy + tyre for my previous cars in case i buggered one. £400 each including delivery. |
