Compressed springs.

Hey guys I found a car i really like and want that looked lowered. I called the dealer to find out what kind of suspension is had. The guy told me they were compressed. I said "so the were heat up and compressed?" He said yeah exactly. This concerned me for 2 reasons.

1. I need new springs or full suspension (what would you guys suggest?)

and 2. does these give the car any long term issues?

I would immediately find a new dealer who knows what they are talking about. Heating and compressing a spring to achieve ride height is an awful idea. You pretty much have 2 routes, a shock and spring setup or coilovers. Do it right and save yourself time and money.
