535i Loaner. Quick review.

335 is BACK on the lift AGAIN. I asked that they have a demo ready when I dropped of the car. They walked me out to a silver/black 535i with sport/paddles. After I figured how to get the thing in drive, it was still dark out this morning at 7am, I took her for a spin. First impression...way more comfortable seats. The adjustments are better and they are a bit softer. Second plus...the paddles are better designed and are with better materials. The shift feel/click is better to me also. Power is OK. I clicked mpg and it is at 21.6. I like the room in the cabin too. Can an SSTT go in it? If any one knows the answer? I am pretty sure it will not work, but a definite yes or no would be appreciated. I'll bet I am in this thing for a week. Now..after all the good points...I get out at the office walk a bit and turn back to look at the car. Uh...bland is about all I can call it. With some mods I am sure it could be improved. But the canvas is pretty bleak to me. I like the car but it's drab looks are a deal killer for ever getting in one of these. I will enjoy it while I have it. 100 miles a day free.

3 people usually do not like 5s. They are big and bulky...

I think in upper crust communities, the 5 is understated elegance. My parents like the 5... so it can't be that bad...

I think it looks horrendous!

Back from lunch. The side mirrors actually show side traffic.
The car floats around corners more than the e90. Understandable.
I looked under the hood. The connectors for the SSTT are in different spots?
The ride with sport package is definitely softer and less jarring than my e90.
I have 19" BBS's.
A lot quieter in the cabin and less exhaust note.
I like the car. It may cost around 7K to get it to look right for me. Wheels/tires, tuner plug, tint, grill, exhaust.
One last thing. On the freeway in manual sport mode, when I click to sixth gear the trans pops hard into that gear only.

It's for Halloween. But if a fake blood drool makes your life miserable I will change it. I guess the tits and ass are OK....I don't know about swearing as to what is demented and what is not.

The only 5 that you can get with the M-Sport Package is the 550i. Which has 380hp and costs nearly $70,000 fully loaded.

I would just get an M5 and not skimp, if you're already spending seventy grand.

Some people are willing to pay no more than $70k on the 5 series.

The others that have virtually no limit on price or have high interest in the car's performance buy the M5.
