Question about struts!

Hey guys i need help. I drive 07 335i (e90) and my left front strut is leaking....instead buying new im thinking about just buying a used. so here is my question..i was looking through ebay and they had bunch of 2011 e92 335i, 07 e92 and 2011 e90 struts.will e92 or 2011 LCI e90 will fit? help will be much appreciated!!!

There were changes to the suspension for at least model year 2011, perhaps earlier. I would not muck about buying used suspension components. In fact, given that your car is a 2007, I'd go ahead and replace all four at once. But then I imagine you're not looking into a used part because you have extra money lying around.

This is good advice. Used suspension is just asking for trouble. I did this, paid the install, found out the shocks were blown, took them back off, sent them off for a rebuild (bilstein) and had to install them again. They were advertised as having 40k miles on them.

I would always, always, always assume that used shocks are blown, period, end-of-sentence. I would only buy them if they were rebuildable and I planned on doing that immediately before install.

Otherwise, Konis are cheap, just buy 4.
