F32 4 Series Offers and deals
Hi guys,
Started looking at the 420D M-Sport and was wondering if anyone else has come across any deals or dealer offers? Specc'd up the car to what I'd like on the configurator, but without knowledge of what the dealer can offer it's hard to work out monthlies. Got a quote from broadspeed too, and the discounts offered by them is around 6-8%. Anyone else been out pricing up the 4? Scott |

I don't think there is much on offer at the moment. You may be able to get a few £k off depending on the dealer.
If I were you I would wait until after Christmas and see if there is any BMW contribution for Q1. Let us know if you find anything. Ant |

Scott,
Just so happens I managed to better broadspeed discount. Managed to get just over 7% when broadspeed were showing a max of 6% on this car, by 'playing 3 dealers of each other on a 420D M-Sport auto with a nice selection of options. Placed the order at the beginning of November, but delivery has been delayed until March 1st as working over sea's until then. (price increase protected as well) So yes it can be done, just takes a bit of hard work. Gordon |

Thanks Gordon, good to know!
Not sure if discounts will improve in Q1 of next year. My issue is my deposit isn't going to be anything substantial. So I'm expecting quite large monthlies anyway (going from 2 cars to 1), just not sure how big? Just need to keep shopping about. The issue is BMW dealers in central Scotland are few and far between. HI,
I am guessing because it has only been out for a few months there are not that many deals around. i have a E92 (3 Series coupe) and have made the jump to a saloon partly because of the crazy offers. I have just spec'ed the 4 series up with the same same spec as my soon to arrive F30 saloon and i would need a 13K discount before it matched my 3 series offer. NB my monthly payments are approx £248 x 36 So unless you really have to have the 4 series i would consider the 3. Last generation i hated the look of the Saloon but loved the coupe this generation i prefer the look of the saloon. |

Xplosiv, I'm always used to a 2 door and not sure I have a practical need for 4 doors.
Maybe I'm being unreasonable and the 3 would be worth a look? General question I know, but what sort of deals are on the 3 at the moment? Not going to jump in, but I may be pleasantly surprised. Scott |

erm not sure what deals are on at the moment you will have to ring around and see what you can get (3.9% on the PCP is on until the 31st December with a min deal deposit of around £4,000).
I also have no need for the extra doors but decided on a high spec F30 instead of a poverty spec 4 series. as the extra toys make all the difference IMO. i may get a 4 series but i will not be until it has had a facelift and i can get a good deal on it. certainly not paying 13K for the same car (not sure what deals can be had TBH as i did not try) But this time around i was more interested in the lower APR and much lower monthly payments (as i have other things i need to spend money on and £400/£500 per month for a car is a little much for me, coming from an 2011 E92 which was £368pm. i am now down to £248pm on a higher spec F30 which is much better and i can make some overpayments to bring it down even further) |

Scott[/QUOTE] There are quite a few dealers in central Scotland. Around nine that i can think off. A couple the same group though. |

BMW like to hang on to coupe prices, look at the ludicrous 6 series. £70 grand for a 640d MS.
Although they have started to 'deposit contributon' them to the tune of £10-13k, they are still over priced IMO. Will they follow the same strategy on the 4? |

HiBee (presuming your a hibs fan, get in!) I've had a look, but most of the deals are blanket applied across the franchises and the discount levels the same! |

430D M-SPORT , I received 7.5% off pm me if you want the contacts name.
I found 10% off on line but some free extras they had as chargeable and it ended up easier buying from the official BMW dealer fwiw the car is brilliant and a big step up from the E92 it replaced |

I was looking at a 4, at harry fairbairn you are looking at £489 for a SE and £539 for a m sport monthly both with a £1500 deposit. The deal is ok but I think I'll wait till April, it's a slow month.

What spec did you look at to get those figures? I'll be looking to put down a £1500-2500 deposit so basing calculations on that |

Although i'm not in he market for an F32, surely a bigger deposit would make the monthlies smaller ? Peter Vardy were doing a decent deal with me earlier on the 3 series, but lost out on a better dealer eleswhere. |

Remember too that discounts will be bigger for higher end models, especially when loaded with options. It gives both BMW and the dealer more to work with.
