Wanted: Modify/recode BC to add digital speedometer on LCD (in MPH and KPH)

Hello all,

I live in Kitchener/Waterloo area in Ontario, Canada. I'm willing travel fan hour or two if anyone can recode my 2006 BMW 325i to add a digital MPH reading. I understand this can be done, but I have not found anyone to do it for me.

I require this not for fun, but because I have to move to the states for a job, and to import my car there, it must have the MPH speedometer.

I will pay for anyone who can perform this service for me. I'll happily pay a reasonably amount, and won't haggle with you. I can drive to Toronto GTA (up to 200km

).

With my VW I had a similar issue and picked up a MPH Speedo from the wreckers. It was all Plug and Play. Not sure if thats an option on these cars as this is my first BMW and I havemnt played around with it much...yet.

I have an 2008 328i so im not sure if your car uses the same cable or not. Ill look into it. If its the same I dont mind doing it. Only takes 5 minutes if that.

What do you mean good price for? 20-30 a code instead 135 plus tax from dealer?
