Any Photos of the Standard Brakes/Blue Calipers???

As I won't be spending a small fortune for the ceramic brakes, does anyone have any official photos of the standard, non-ceramic, blue caliper set-up???

I'm wondering if they'll just be similar in appearance to the M Sport optional brakes; at least the calipers, as I know the discs will be cross-drilled, larger, etc...

Thanks everyone!!!

Take away one pot per end for the standard brakes.

They'll be the same as the ones on the M5 except one less pot

Nice catch! I didn't even see them in that particular photo.

The BMW configurator only has them in yellow now, just curious to see what they'll look like (standard brakes) from a side profile...

And they're covered under the no cost maintenance unlike the ceramics. And they're not gold. And they can't be ruined by your local tire monkey.

these brakes with a race pad and the lower weight will be very good at the track. hell, even the crappy brakes on the current m3 are pretty good when used with good fluid and race pads.

ceramics are straight bling factor and a massive waste imo. they don't even make good racing pads for ceramics, and 99% of Porsche drivers swap out ceramics for steel if they track the car.

im happy with the new brakes. ill be really happy if you can swap pads without taking the caliper off the car.

Go through the spy pics of the prototypes, plenty of views of the standard M3/M4 brakes in blue.

do you know if the pads can be removed without removing the calipers? (a la Porsche or stoptech bbk for m3)

I heared that you need 19 inch wheels to clear optional ceramic brakes. In that case, i wouldnt even consider them for free

These are 19s -- same ones on the YMB F80. I don't believe we've seen the 18" option yet.

I must have been imagining that YMB M3 had the standard brakes, and not the CCB, which made me think they were 18"

I think some of the test mules were running the 18's; blacked-out though.

I'm going to browse some of the spy shots and see if I can find them...
