B12 Sport Suspension Kit: Feedback?
I have been doing some winter reading in preperation for a spring upgrade to my M-Sport Suspension that has 126k on it. I am looking for additional input or feedback about the B12 kit that is on Turner's website as follows:
http://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-22...n-package.aspx It looks like a great kit and even better when you factor the overall cost at less than half of a decent coilover setup. I am either going with a true match setup like this or going for mid to high end coilovers. Thoughts on the B12 kit as a viable option for a spirited dd? Thanks,

Man that set is pretty cheap. Do you know what the spring rates are and whether progressive or linear?
Edit; Looks like the springs are progressive: Key Features and Benefits of Bilstein B12 Pro-Kit: Professional Cornering System (PCS) Lowers up to 40mm Bilstein monotube gas pressure technology Eibach Pro-Kit application-specific progressive rate performance springs Anybody know the spring rates though? |

i called eibach on cybermonday to find out about spring rates. for parts 2085 and 2092 for e90, they told me 148/457 front/rear, both part numbers. To my surprise they quoted the spring rates as linear. So if that matters to you, you might want to verify.

Those rates and the amount of lowering they mention sounds like the basic Eibach Sport springs....which are progressive. Great price for the setup.

if you go to their site, they have the F30 rates, show them as progressive and give a range of rates. No info on the e90 rates, so I called for the spring rates, thinking they were progressive. I was also a little surprised the 328i and 335i rates were exactly the same, thought perhaps the 335 would be a little stiffer. |

Looks like a nice combo. I considered this before I decided to just go with the eibach pro system. Glad to see someone is offering it as a package! Might be what I change to if my current suspension ever wears out.
