Unhappy Sad day for me!

So my front end got clipped! Here's the pics. I'm ok though. Now I just have to figure out how much dammage is actually done to the car and what bumper I want to replace it with! Sorry the pics are kinda blurry, I only had my phone to take pics with.

I had the old style front end with the round holes for the fog lights. Do you think I'll still be able to find the same front end? I like it more than the newer sharper looking ones.

Get the Z4M front bumper. A good bodyshop should know how to fabricate fog light housings where the brake cooling ducts are so you can retain the fog lights on your car.

A big SUV lol. Barely hit the front of my car, but it was enough to peel off the front bumper. Also, I installed my own HID lights in there, and I had the ballasts and computer cancellers stored down where the fog lights normally go, so I'm pretty sure those are toast now. They were 8000k lights too!

Looks like you're going to have to get a new hood as well. Sorry to hear of the mishap, mate.

I hope this will be sorted out soon so that you can put it behind you.

Ouch...sorry to read and see your recent mishap. Coming from someone who has replaced her front bumper a number of times now I can honestly say, "It's gonna be ok...she'll look as good as new again soon".

Hang in there. Glad no one was hurt.

Socal, how long did it take the shop to get all of your work completed? Did you have to get a new hood too?

Usually under a week. And thank goodness, never had to replace the hood (though I do like the M hoods ) Actually, if my baby was paid for I'm probably trade up for the M (stands for mmmmmmmmmmmmm ya know...hehe)

I second that...my first Z4 I purchased was bought used...it had been hit. Gotit cheap. But it was a pain to get the hood and bumper aligned properly.

Took several visits to the body shop until it was as it should be.
