Bit sad to be getting rid of my X5 as it's been a good family workhorse. Got rid of a M135i a bit too quickly and have missed a proper drive. Hoping this fits nicely in the middle somewhere

Are you tempted to get the black exhaust tips to complete the M performance look mate? I wonder given the monster torque it may well be as quick if not quicker than the 135i to 60 (and 4x4)

Please do tell us your thoughts on Adaptive Suspension please

During the wait I have been tempted to go mad with the performance bits but I'm playing it safe to start and will see what it looks like. Spoiler not been fitted yet aparently so will Ned to go back in.

Managed to stay in bed till five this morning!

Congratulations! Did you get the visibility pack?

We're seeing more 335d's than anything else here on this forum! Great car, great deal, no brainier! Honestly having owned, around 15 bmws including M3's, a porche cayane.. I can happily say this is one of the greatest car I have ever owned! You just cannot fault it, enjoy it.

I've got it, and honestly I can tell you it is absolutely amazing, driving in a country road yesterday and was testing the difference between comfort and sport settings, it was externally noticeable! The car is very comfortable to drive, not wallowy, firm when you want it to be. I would tick the option everytime

Cheers, glad I ticked that option I am debating whether to change my order and go for active cruise, lumbar adjustment and Speed limit display.

I have chosen electric seats but want to swap for HUD, but the misses will drive it too and seat adjustment would be a pain

Got in and just ben hooning for a few hours......good first impressions but early days

Only one negative, too many blooming badges. They will have to go. Didnt realise the cheapy nav doesnt get the new idrive controller.....never mind.

Seats are great, glad i went for lumbar support

Controls central dashboard screen, nav/radio/settings etc...It's touch sensitive, you can use it to write or delete letters or numbers, ideal when typing a phone number, postcode, place name etc... Extremely useful.. Physical appearance, the round bit on the idrive is bigger... It has some pretty good recognition software... Being right handed, you can imagine trying to write with your left, a total mess but it still recognises your writing pretty well
