I'm a little new to the bimmer world, but is this normal? When I parked, my car was all alone. A couple hours later, two other BMW's park next to me. Haha. It put a smirk on my face. Haha!

Threes a crowd! I park next to other bimmers as well. There's def a camaraderie amongst BMW owners.

Probably because you parked fair away with no cars around so peoples door won't ding your car. So those other BMW drivers have the same idea park next to other BMW drivers because they are probably careful with there doors

Um, I think that's a gym. And yes, people park their Bimmers next to me because they don't want door dings. I try to park away near a vehicle nicer than mine or on the opposite side of the other car's driver door if theirs is a beater car.

Yep, I find the same. I usually try to park far away from stores, don't mind walking and also a habit I have (did the same with my Honda Civic).

Funny you mention that. I'm working nights right now and just went out to my car this morning. The entire parking lot is mostly empty, with no cars within 5 spaces of mine when I parked in. Some jackass in a van parked RIGHT next to me. I took a pic and will post it when I get home.

I always park the furthest away from everyone when I'm at the gym. But, yeah camaraderie amongst car owners is pretty common.

I don't care for camaraderie I want nobody next to my car... And I park next to nobody, especially not fancy cars. Lots of drivers out there in BMWs don't have our level of care for other's property.

BMW beasts do seem to cluster by nature...much more so than the previous Acura species that I owned for 15 years. I am constantly amused at how our car-beasts tend to come together for mutual protection and company.
