removing the stock air box

Is there a trick to getting the stock air box off it's 3 rubber grommets? I got the front one off with much difficulty, and I've been trying to pull it off the back 2 for the past 10 minutes with no progress at all.

once you've unscrewed the two intake pipes off, removed the rubber grommets holding power cables (near the intake pipe on the back), and the pipe on the front of the box (totally fine to detach), it should be a matter of pulling the box off its grommets.
