F31 335d Msport......Ordered!

Just ordered an F31 335d M sport and we are talking uncontrollable levels of excitement - my wife thinks i have gone potty.

Long story behind this so I'll try to keep it brief but it's been an excessively drawn out saga, entirely of my own making - I must be a dealer's worst ever nightmare.

-Originally ordered a 330d M Sport S-Drive a year or so ago after a fabulous extended test drive, only to have to pull out of the order for reasons beyond my control - got my deposit back and had to bide my time for a while.

-October this year, happier times; tested out and subsequently ordered a 330d M Sport X-Drive......but began to seriously regret it when the 335d started being offered with a very favourable contribution and I realised I could have a better car for the same financial package I had agreed on the 330.

Yes, something better always comes along but given the financial commitment, this has been chewing away at me, so with an enormous amount of haggling with senior management, my very accommodating dealer has let me re-order, having already taking delivery of my 330d which i was due to collect next week - and for the same deposit and monthly payment on a PCP.

Enough waffle - here is the spec;

F31 335d MSport.
Mineral Grey/Black Dakota.
Brushed Aluminium/Black Gloss trim.
Black M Performance Grills.
X-drive de-badge.

M Sport + with Vis Pack
Pro Nav
Enhanced Bluetooth
Extended Storage
Adaptive M Sport Suspension

Having the car professionally detailed before collecting, hopefully in Jan.

Would like to say a big thanks to the F30 forum community for sharing a fountain of knowledge and insight on all manner of issues.

Now the painful bit, the wait! Will be back again with pictures and initial thoughts post delivery.

Sounds fantastic and good you held on for the 335d, you won't regret it.

Can i ask where you obtained your deal from - as i am in Hampshire, not far away, just the other side of Camberley.

I have found out i have just missed out on a 335D Touring via a lease company as the supplier has "reached allocation"

Now pushing my local dealer BARONS for a deal, based upon a post in this forum, which would match that received via a lease company - maybe you took the last one of the allocation i lost out on - you never know!

Try Ridgeway at Hook. I've had a couple of good deals from them now.

No, hopefully find out early next week. Probably too tight to get it before the end of December now.

I think there's still a very small chance cars could be delivered between Xmas and NYE, but I'm not holding my breath. Besides, Jan is always a slow month, so will be nice to get it then.
