Need comfortable tires for BMW 328i
Hey guys, I need to replace my current Continental ExtremeContact DW summer performance tires due to their wear out. When I purchased the Continentals I was looking for good handling tires since my car 2008 BMW 328i has a sport package. Now I feel like changing to more comfortable tires and precise handling doesn't really matter much, since the car itself is very good at that. So I need opinions on really comfortable tires (quite and soft ride) and good in terms of value.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks! |

You can get an all-season tire that won't handle as well, but will last longer and can be used in various driving scenarios, or you can get a different summer tire that perhaps is a bit more comfortable. Just depends on your needs!

Bought Continental ExtremeContact DWS today. Hope they will be a bit more comfortable than Continental ExtremeContact DW...

The DWS has a pretty soft sidewall, so they'll definitely be comfy.

Since BMW do not carry the spare, I always try to go for run flats. Well, because you never know, right? |

They are not. But I am driving mostly in the town so the towing is always available. Had just once in 5 years that I am using non run-flat. Michelin provides an extra coverage to its tires called Promise Plan, they would tow you anywhere within 150 miles range for free. So if you need extra peace of mind you may wanna go with Michelin without going into run-flat business.

Correct, these are not run flat tires and do indeed have a softer ride than most ultra high performance tires.
