E92 M3 rear subframe will it fit E92 335i?

Hi there, need some advice, i planned to fit a complete e92 m3 rear subframe with LSD to my 335i next summer, but ive come into problems with the 335i subframe, looks like the bushes have gone, what id like to know is can fit the m3 e92 subframe on as these have better bushes and will my 335i diff fit in for now to get me out of trouble ?? ive got adjustable rear toe arms for m3 subframe too.

If you get the complete M3 subframe with arms, diff, brakes and dampers pretty much all you have to do is a custom driveshaft. If you source just the frame with diff you will need more custom work.

Hmm, interesting proposition, changing the whole subframe for the 4 subframe bushings and 3 diff bushings. I thought the subframe was the same in its self. Just change the bushings?! no?

My bet is that it is the same and the diff will fit, but I am not 100%. Good luck though!

Edit: checked realoem and it is not the same, sorry. If the diff fits, I do not know.

Looking at different sites that sell LSD, it sure doesn't look like the M3 differential and non-M3 are interchangeable. No idea why, but you can probably email the shops that sells them or the (aftermarket) manufacturer and get the reason.

It might be as simple as just having to change the drive shaft/halfshafts along with it. And the p/n difference between the m3/non-m3 sub-frame could be just some minor difference to accommodate slightly different attaching parts or whatever. Doesn't mean it won't work.

I changed my 325i knuckle to a 335i. Different p/n's between the two, but it worked fine so long as you change out the half-shafts, bearing, hub, parking brake, calipers and rotors along with it.
