Awesome pics!

I could never understand why some M235i's have the silver slats on the front bumper and some don't ? Is it just on the prototypes that don't have them?

This makes me very happy to see they did away with the orange built into the headlights like the 1 series. Thank You BMW !!!

these are probably the best pics I've seen yet of the 2-series. it has kept most of the proportions of the 1er, which is a good thing! I like the rear....but what I dislike the most is the front end which looks too 3-series like.....more generic. I sort of wish they brought this Coupe over with the Euro M135i front end....which has a lot more character than this

That's the first I've heard someone say they wish the 2 series headlights looked more like the 1 hatch's.

i know i'm in the minority....but i really like the original 1er's more unique front end....and the Euro M135's strange front end is also very unique, and looks more like a 'classic' old school BMW rather than the Coupe's more angled, 'modern' front end. One of the reasons i love the 1-series is because it had its own look....the 2-series is a nice evolution, but i feel is lacking some character.

I wonder if the Euro M135 front end would just 'clip on' to the Coupe. It looks like the seams are identical, although i'm sure the Euro parts have some differences. IF the euro front end clips on to the M235i, i think my mind would totally change about the looks of the 2!

First mod - replace amber reflectors.
Second mod - color match side mirrors. Seriously, who wants silver mirrors on a car that isn't silver?

Plenty of Audi S and RS cars have had that for years. BMW has gone to black mirrors on the Sport Line cars. I like each on some colors, but do generally prefer body colored mirrors.

Well at least in europe you can save yourself Mod2.

There is a no cost option to have color matching mirrors if you don't like silver

I agree. 1er looks better, maybe it's the wheels or body lines. Will have to see this in person. I do like the headlights however
