Fog light replacement

I ordered from tuner depot some new yellow fog lights for my 2007 335i. The only ones they had for my car were H11 bulbs. I assumed that they were H11 bulbs that were from the factory. I was wrong for assuming anything. The bulbs that are factory are H8. My question is this. Will they work? The only noticeable difference is that one tab is bigger on the H11 than on the H8. That one tab is enough to make them not fit. Has anyone had luck with using H11 in place of the H8? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The h# are there for a reason lol on the factory one how u turn them in seals perfect if u do that with the wrong one could b a little leak.
H11 are longer than h7 I kno.
And again having had h8 only h7/h11 in mine
