The car came with the windshield already tinted. Ive never had a windshield tinted, but after driving with it, I highly recommend to do it. Anyways my windshield is cracked now so I have to replace it. Im trying to figure out what percentage the tint is though. I think its 35%. Anyone familiar with tinting that can give their opinion?

Yes I do and I was always a little afraid of it affecting the performance of it.

I must say though that I can't see any difference with the tint. I own an Escort 9500xi and have used a friends V1 for about a month and the both radar detectors still pick up threats a good distance away.

I have an escort I might pull the trigger on this soon I was thinking going 45 or so
