What dealer/shop/detailer to use in Phoenix/Tuscon?

Hello all,

I'm currently in the middle of a move to glorious Sierra Vista, AZ... My 335i should be here in a few weeks and I thought I'd ask for some input on which dealer to use.

My in-laws are all up in Ahwatukee/PHX, so I'll be in the area frequently, but Tuscon is a bit closer to 'home'. Do any of you have recommendations on a dealer to use for warranty/ maintenance? Shops for aftermarket work? DETAILERS? (I refuse to go to a place with an automatic car wash and a fleet of immigrants with armor-all, but that's all I remember seeing in Chandler when I lived there...) Who has the best customer service? Who would do the best with a Military import from Europe? I'll need to set up my U.S. warranty, BMW connect, etc.

On a separate note, how much did it cost you for initial AZ registration? I'm toying with the idea of that as opposed to mailing back and forth to WA.

Thanks in advance for the tips!

My tags were 500 for 2013. I've got a 2012 328i luxury. Chapman has a new dealership at Ray and I-10. I have nothing bad to say about them, service-wise, even though I bought my car at north Scottsdale. Chapman just was not willing to budge on
Price when I bought my f30.

Well, looks like I'll be registering in WA! I think I can get it for under $100. Thanks for the tip!

If you don't mind, what kind of work have you had Chapman do for you so far?

Just a reg service, driver door adjustment. They also replaced a punctured tire for free, even gave me a loaner, while they waited for the tire to come in. Very accommodating.
