Eisenmann sport exhaust for 335d

Hi Guys

I have an E90-93 Eisenmann sport exhaust (axle back) for 335d for sale. In used but good condition.

http://www.eisenmann.co.uk/product/p...65&no=349&Opt=

The only issue with the exhaust is that the tips do not appear to be original. They have been welded on - which has rusted very slightly (as shown in the pics). It's not visible when on the car and will not affect sound or performance. I planned to weld on new Quad tips - hence it didn't concern me.

I have an email from Eisenmann that they expect +5 BHP increase from the exhaust alone on a stock car. The Eisenmann in about 5 kg lighter than OEM and the Sport level is approx + 3dB over stock.

Don't miss out - Make me an offer.

I thought that the i and d were the same back boxes.
Obviously you've had a trial fitment!
According to Supersprint, there is a difference between E90/91/92/93 in that E92/3 have slightly longer tail pipes than E90/91 by about 35mm.

I looked into this for my previous E91 - the Supersprint boxes are the same part number between the i and d (or they were), it's just the tail pipes that differ.

Maybe Eisenmann do it differently to the Italians!

And yes, I still have the Supersprint boxes in my garage . . . Not for sale though.

IIRC back to my college days, +3dB is half as loud again. Nice. Just what the diesel needs - a bit of throatiness.

I contacted eisenmann uk and Germany seperately. They both said the internal muffling is very different and it would not sound good on a petrol version. This was the main reason for purchasing.

I'm frankly amazed at the quality of it though and am gutted it won't work for me. Fancy a swap for the supersprint?

Not sure.

You'll be please to hear that I don't expect £1400 for it. Someone will be getting a bargain..

someone who already has a cut and clamped exhaust should try it to see what it sounds like. back in my Vauxhall days i know alot of people to run petrol boxes on diesels with no adverse effects.

Price = £680

This reflects the minor issues described above.

The reason these exhaust are so expensive is that they have an engineered in sound quality.

I could put a £300 power flow back box on the car and it wouldn't affect performance. But the sound would be crap... I don't believe the sound would be right using the diesel box. This was the biggest reason for purchase.

I'm eyeing up a few exhausts.

I think the BMW performance exhaust is different between e90/e92..

As I now have it's replacement I could do with this going before the mrs goes in the garage and finds two very expensive Eisenmann exhausts.

£500 gets it to your door.
