Scheduled for production with no confirmed production date

Hey all,

X5 xdrive50i with M Sport package was order on 10-4-13
Scheduled for daily production pack on 10-11-13

Status is still scheduled for production with no confirmed production date. Does anyone have any similar dates with these figures to better estimate time frame? Trying to figure out how much longer till it enters production. This wait is unbearable! Lol

If you ordered 20's there is a supplier problem. Not sure if the wheels were defective or something else. No production with 20's Until end of November.

I ordered 19's. Just wondering other people's dates. Gives me a better idea of how long it goes from stage to stage for others!

My 50i m-sport with 20's was completed 9/24 (currently still at vpc). Hope mine aren't defective. Maybe it's a shortage.

Won't matter anyway- my X5 50i has been at the VPC since September - due to the hold BMW is not releasing the X5 50is until "sometime" in november.

Yep - mine's been ready for over a month now and i can't even get a PCD date yet...the wait only makes me contemplate my options chosen as i access the bmwusa.com site and reconfigure my X5 on a daily basis

so even if there was no delay with the 20s - you are still in the same boat as those who ordered a 50i months ago

Welcome to the club!

Just ordered my first BMW from a suburban Chicago dealership, X5 xdrive35 gas on 10/17. I also have no confirmed production date. I pushed the dealer pretty hard for an estimate, and they estimate delivery in beginning of December. I'm not sure how that translates for the xdrive50i, but it's at least one data point.

Once you pull the trigger, the waiting is indeed hell.

I sat in that status for weeks on my F30 and unfortunately no one ever has any valuable information until it actually does go into production. Everything up to that point is far less black and white than you would hope/expect. At least we don't have to track a boat across the ocean for our X5's. So there's that

Same as the rest of the early i50 orders. M-Sport with 20s completed on 10/1 and currently sitting at the VPC. "Sometime in November" is what I keep getting too. Seeing people in other countries getting their i50 is just killing me! I can drive to the VPC in 3.5 hrs! I wonder if they will let me visit my i50?

2013 Google maps pick: wonder if my X5 is sitting there...

I can see mine too!!!

Thanks for posting - I don't know if this makes waiting any better or actually much worse.

For the love of God - please will BMW give us poor, patient X5 50i purchasers a PCD or release date!
