ER Charge Pipe / SSQV4 Question

I just installed my ER Charge Pipe and HKS SSQV-4 BOV (bought from reputable source, genuine). When the boost builds up and you let off the gas the BOV vents as it should, however I see a quick spike in boost as it is venting. Is this normal?

Thanks guys! Just wanted to make sure. Also I'm now seeing the drive by wire problem when at WOT the BOV releases then releases again. If you have the BB Flash would there be a way to get the throttle blip to go away?
